Freddy Sadler age 72 of Valley Mills, Texas passed away April 30, 2022 at Hillcrest Baylor Scott & White.
Visitation will be 6 – 7 PM Wednesday at Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Valley Mills, Tx.
Freddy also known as "Dump Truck" was born in Valley Mills, Texas on March 3, 1950 to Jack and Oma Sadler. He was the 6th child out of 7 siblings.
Freddy married Arlene Sadler October 8, 1981. He started driving trucks at the age of 16 for Ernest McLemore hauling cattle and pigs. Later he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he drove gasoline tankers for a few years. Finally moving back to Valley Mills and started his own business, Sadler & Sons Excavation. He has owned several trucks and equipment. Doing house pads, tanks and ponds to driveways and even demolition until his health started to fail him. Freddy was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Jack Darnell Sadler and Billy Gene Sadler, and sister Mary Alice (Sadler) Hairston, and son Tommy Sadler.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years Arlene, 5 children: Kevin (Shannon) Summers of Hewitt, Kayla Summers of Mesquite, Donnie (Casey) Sadler of Valley Mills, Fredrick Sadler of Valley Mills, Michael (Latonya) Sadler of China Spring; a brother, Larry (Ocie) Sadler, sisters: Diane Diggs and Leoma Hemphill. He has 14 grandchildren and host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
