Frankie Lee (Clements) Smith, age 84, of Valley Mills, Texas, passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 3, 2020, at her residence in Valley Mills. Memorial service will be 11 A.M. Friday, Feb. 7, 2020, at Patton Baptist Church with Pastor Pat Cummings officiating under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Patton Baptist Church, PO Box 538, Valley Mills, Texas 76689.

Frankie was born on April 7, 1935, in Bovina, Texas, to Norma Lee (Wilson) Plummer and Frank Jessie Clements. She was a devout member of the Patton Baptist Church where she played piano until she stepped down and simply enjoyed the music from the congregation. She was a loving wife of Cyril E. (Gene) Smith for 65 years. They were blessed with 2 children, Ronald (Bucky) Smith and Rebecca Smith. She was an active member of the Eastern Star and daughters of the Nile for many years. She also owned her beauty shop for 15 years where there was good conversation and much laughter. She was preceded in death by her son Bucky.

Survivors include her husband Cyril E. Smith; a daughter Rebecca (Becky) Smith, and a grandson: Joshua (Ty) Smith.
