Frank Alfred Lumpkin

Frank Lumpkin, 63, of Waco completed his assignment and his soul quietly flew away to wait on God's trumpet call Dec. 8 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Funeral service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, December 17, 2016, at the Valley Mills First Baptist Church under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
Frank was born July 14, 1953 in Buffalo, NY to Elmo and Ennis Lumpkin. Frank served in the Army from Jan. 18, 1972 until Feb. 1, 1979. After the Army, Frank was a welder. He married Wanda Johnson on Sept. 22, 1995. They were blessed with many children. He instilled in them the desire to become more than what society said they could be. He was a good man of influence who sought to leave a legacy of being a good neighbor not just in words but, also in deeds. His hobbies included fishing, hunting and riding his bike for exercise.
God called Frank home while leaving a live long legacy for his children; sons Michael (Cecelia) Lumpkin of Atlanta, GA: Frank Alfred Lumpkin,Jr. of Waco, TX: Brad Taylor, and Jimmy Mack (Alicia) Taylor all of Valley Mills, TX. Daughters; Tawanda Lumpkin of Waco, TX: Dominique McDonald of Austin, TX: Shanadia Degrate of Waco, TX: Shelicia (Chris) Taylor of Waco, TX. One brother: Mark (Teresa) Lumpkin of Dallas, TX: and one sister Robin (Donald) Green of Buffalo, NY and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
