Lucille Bonner Oct. 22, 1915 ~ July 11, 2013 Lucille Bonner, age 97, of Valley Mills passed away July 11, 2013, in Burleson, Texas. Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Wednesday July 17th at the Valley Mills First Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Smith Bend Coon Creek Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home & Cremation services. Visitation will be 5 - 7 P.M. Tuesday, July 16th at the funeral home. Lucille was born October 22, 1915, in Moody, Texas, to Richard and Myrtis (Payne) Mallory. She was married to James R. Bonner in 1937. He preceded her in death in 1980. Lucille formerly worked for Rio Grand National Insurance Company. She was a tax clerk and retired from Bosque County Tax Office. Lucille was a member of Valley Mills First Baptist Church. Survivors include 2 daughters: Myrtis Anthony and husband Jimmy of Waxahachie, Jean Jones and husband Steven of Utah; 2 sisters: Helen Yarber of Valley Mills, Katheryn Holder and husband John of Lorena, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
