Flora Mae (Tootie) Hoffman, age 79, of Waco, passed away Sept. 6th in a Waco hospital. Graveside services will be 12 noon Friday at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Foss Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum. Mrs. Hoffman was born Nov. 15, 1931, in Cego, Texas. She was the daughter of William John and Freida Selma (Niesen) Koerth. She was an honor graduate of Waco High School. She went to work for H & B Packing Co. while in high school and worked for them for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Benny William Hoffman Jr. Survivors include her sons: James Ray Hoffman and wife Tracy, Darrell Glenn Hoffman; a brother: William John Koerth Jr., sisters: Margaret Montgomery and husband Allen, JoAnna Lanham and husband Jerry, Doris Nance, Donna Adaway and husband Charlie, 2 grandsons: Michael Dwayne Hoffman and wife Mandi, James Ray Hoffman Jr. and wife Lacey; grandchildren: Hunter, Kaison, and Payton Hoffman.
