Evangeline (Lynn) Rice Jan. 25, 1920 ~ Dec. 27, 2012 Evangeline (Lynn) Rice was born in Thornton, TX on January 25, 1920 and passed from this life on December 27, 2012. She was just one month away from her 93rd birthday. Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Thursday at the Valley Mills Church of Christ. Interment will be in the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home. Visitation will be Thursday 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Evangeline was the oldest of six children born to Jasper Ed & Mabel Mullins. She is survived by two brothers, Jerry Mullins of Abilene, TX and Don Mullins of Trinity, FL. She retired from Texas Farm Bureau of Clifton, Texas. Later worked for Valley Mills I.S.D. Lynn was a member of the Valley Mills Church of Christ. From the marriage of Evangeline to Paul Rice; she is survived by two sons, Timothy Rice of Sacramento, CA and Robin Rice of Norwalk, Iowa. From those two sons she is survived by six grandchildren; Bonnie Jackson of Nevada, Terri Altymer of Oregon, Mary Rice of CA, Merissa Michaels of CA, Alyx Rice of Iowa and Cally Rice of Iowa.
