Elizabeth Dale Thompson, age 60, of Valley Mills, Texas, passed away on Monday, Sept. 10, 2018 at her residence surrounded by family.  Funeral service will be 10 A.M. Saturday at the Valley Mills First Baptist Church under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Visitation will be 9 - 10 A.M. Saturday at the church just prior to the service.   Graveside service will be 2:30 P.M. at the  West Boone Prairie Cemetery near Franklin, Texas

Elizabeth was born Dec. 3, 1957, in Bryan, Texas, to Earl Perrie and Doris Jean (Lackey) Thompson.  She went to school at Evans High School in Louisiana.  She received a Bachelor Degree in Criminology from American Intercontinental University.  She had moved to Valley Mills from Louisiana in 1999 and was one of the original employees of Brookshire Brothers when they bought out Wiethorn Food Store and retired from Brookshire Brothers this year due to health issues.  Elizabeth was a member of Antioch Community Church in Waco.   She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Earl P. Thompson. Jr.
