Douglas Gregory McNeill, age 65, passed away on August 12, 2025, in Valley Mills, Texas.

Anyone wanting to sign the register may do so at the funeral home from 9 AM ~ 5 PM Friday.

SERVICE TIME HAS BEEN CHANGED  Graveside services will be 11 A.M. Saturday, August 16, 2025,

at the Valley Mills Cemetery.

Douglas was born on December 9, 1959, in New York, to Lt. Col. Joseph LeGrand McNeill and Lieutenant Katharine Maki McNeill. He graduated from Valley Mills High School in 1978, then served four years in the United States Air Force. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and spinning a tale. His bold spirit and unshakable honesty left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Deborah McNeill, and brother Joseph McNeill.

Survivors include his daughters, Elizabeth McKain and her husband, Jason, and Emily Rasberry and her husband, Michael; and his grandchildren Madison, Olivia, and Emerson McKain, Owen and Callan Rasberry.

The family would like to express a special thanks to all of his friends who have supported and cared for him over the past few years.
