Dolores Dorman, age 89, of Valley Mills, Texas, passed away at her home on May, 8, 2020, surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be 11 A.M. Monday, May 11, 2020, at the Fairview Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Dickson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center. State mandated social distancing will be practiced at both events.

Memorials may be made to the Fairview Baptist Church.

Dolores was born on November 7, 1930 in Henderson, Texas, to Ben C. and Lottie Nell (Drake) Tooke. She grew up in Tyler, Texas, and graduated from Tyler High School in 1948. Dolores went to nursing school in Temple, Texas, where she met Edgar Sleet Dorman Jr. while he was attending A. & M. They married on August 6, 1949. ("70 years married") She was asked one time what the secret to 70 years of marriage. She replied, " Dugan told her what to do and she did it. " Dolores greatest love was family and caring for children.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Carol Jean Dorman Jenkins, and a grandson Gene Langston.

She is survived by her husband, E.S. (Dugan) Dorman Jr., children: Linda June D. Brown, Laura Jill Dorman, Jim Dugan Dorman (Verna), grandchildren: Johnna Jenkins, Jack Langston, Daniel Dible (Melody), Jonathan Dible, Lacie Dorman, great grandchildren: Jackie Langston, Aubrey Langston, Josiah Dible,

Pallbearers are: Roland Bryant, Mike Willie, Dr. Brad Herridge, Daniel Dible, Jonathan Dible, and Jack Langston.
