Diana Lynn Eskew Thiele, age 50, of China Spring, Texas, passed away after a short illness on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2011, at her home surrounded by family and friends. Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Wednesday at the Valley Mills First Baptist Church. Interment will be at Clifton Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 to 7 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Diana was born January 30, 1961, in Waco, Texas. She was the daughter of Ray and Alice (Lumpkin) Eskew. She was a 1979 graduate of Valley Mills High School. She was married to Joseph Thiele on November 11, 1978, in Cayote. Diana had worked for Smart Shop at the Crossroads 185 and Hwy.6 until her recent illness. Diana loved meeting people, being with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband Joseph Thiele, sons: Wesley Thiele and wife Yvonne, Derek Thiele and wife Kellie, Kristopher Thiele and wife Rachael; her parents: Ray and Alice Eskew; brothers: Kevin Eskew and wife Bambi, J.R. Eskew and wife Rebecca, grandchildren: Lilly, Kaci, Clayton, and one on the way, mother-in-law: Esther Thiele; sister-in-law: Kristy Durrett, brothers-in-law: Richard, Douglas, Jody, and Bruce Thiele, several nieces, nephews, and friends. Pallbearers: Jessie Thiele, Lenonard Thiele, C.R. Thiele, Bobby Wolfe, Dustin Eskew, and Colby Cosper. Honorary pallbearers: nephews.
