Debra Lynn Cummings, age 66, of Mosheim, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017, at her home surrounded by family.  Funeral service will 10 A.M. Saturday at the Mosheim Baptist  Church.  Interment will be at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Visitation will be 5 - 7 P.M. Friday at Foss Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to the Mosheim Community Center, c/o Pamela Gunter, 899 CR 217, Valley Mills, Texas 76689.

Debra was born January 26, 1951, in Lubbock, Texas, to Lee and Eva Ondine (Couch) Jinkins.  She had lived in Kuwait for 14 years.  She received her Masters Degree from Tarleton University.  She married Bun Cummings Jr. in March of 1982.  She was a children's author and was a member of the Mosheim Methodist Church.  Before her illness, she was a high school counselor.

Survivors include her husband:  Bun Cummings Jr. of Mosheim, 2 sons:  Brad Still and wife Janel of NC, Zak Cummings of China Spring, a brother:  Dennis Jinkins of Katy, Texas; and 4 grandchildren: Molly, Jebediah, Levi and Noah Still.

Pallbearers are Jeb Still, George Litton, Chance Gunter, Andy Harvey, Jimmy McAdams, and Corky Necessary.  Honorary Pallbearers are Bill Borom, John Mitchell, and Dr. Gene Murff.
