Deborah Ann (Morgan) Freedman (age 72)  was taken to her heavenly home on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 after a brief hospital stay.

Graveside services will be held 11 A.M. Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home &  Cremation Center.

Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday at the funeral home .

Deborah was born on September 21, 1952 to Edwin C. Morgan and Frankie Ann (Huggins) Morgan in Gatesville, TX.  She attended most of her school years at China Spring where she met her husband John Freedman whom she married on October 24, 1970.  John and Deborah were blessed with one daughter, Jessie Ann.

Keeping up with Deborah was truly a challenge.  She loved life to the fullest and never tired of traveling and going on vacations.  She wanted to experience life to the fullest.  Deborah was a devoted member of Top Hand Cowboy Church and enjoyed the close relationships with fellow members.

Preceded in death by her parents, Edwin and Frankie (Maw), as well as her husband, John of almost 46 years at the time of his death.

Deborah (Mimi)  is survived by daughter, Jessie and son-in-law, Billy, as well as her grandson Rylan who kept her young at heart and was the joy of her life.  She is also survived by her siblings, Rhonda (Wayne) Ross of Wylie, TX, brothers, Russell Morgan of Oglesby, TX and Mark Morgan of Waco, TX, her Auntie Joyce and several nieces and nephews and many family members from her long time marriage to John.
