Dawn Rene Clayton
April 26, 1967  ~ Feb. 26, 2024

Dawn Rene Glidewell Clayton was born April 26, 1967 in Waco Texas and died peacefully February 26, 2024 at her home. The family will have a memorial service at 11 AM, Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Bridge Christian Church, 380 Compton Rd., Crawford, Texas, with Don Cooper officiating.  A lunch will follow the service.

She is survived by her mother Patsy Ruth Clayton and father Alfred Taylor Glidewell; Her brother Daren Glidewell and wife Mailyn, brother Clayton Glidewell and friend Marilyn Green. She was the very best daughter, sister, friend and best of all Tia to Austin and Ashley Glidewell, Leiliana and Darius Jackson, Gabriel, Daniel, and Amaris Glidewell. And the greats, Khi'lan, Josh, Noah, Sophia, and Roman. Every last one and more were Dawn Rene's heart.

Over the years she enjoyed working at Disney World Orlando, Book sales at the Haines City school districts, Director at The Green Isle Children's ranch, Concessions for the Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys.   She was owner of a local home cleaning business and cleaned many area homes at the time of her stepping into Heaven.  She served her Church faithfully.  Rene loved God above all and that was evident in all that she did- selflessly serving her community. She was a Constitutional Conservative and loved this nation. Rene ran hard in this life with her hand to the plow and eye on the prize.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Bridge in her name to carry on her Kingdom work.
