Cheryl was born on July 28, 1964, in Hico, Texas, to Alice and Otie Ray Young. She made her home in Bosque County, TX. She was a great chef, working all over the state of Texas. Even competing in a Food Network Cook-off with a champion and winning. She was a very hard worker, this she did with the soul purpose, her children and grandchildren. Which were the joys of her life. Cheryl found faith at two years of age. She spent the remainder of her life knowing where she was going.
Cheryl is proceeded in death by her parents. She is survived by her 3 children; 2 daughters, Brandi Perkins and husband Tristan, Krystal Young and late husband, Chris Gentry and 1 son; Jimmy Johnson. 2 sisters; Teresa Young and partner Kim Greer, Rayleen and husband Allen Evans and 1 brother; Billy Young. Also her 11 grandchildren; Lebron, CJ, Braylon, Kadien, Haley, Trevin, Travis, Kamryn, Madison, Jimmy Jr., Jakoby, and Emma. God-children; Avery and Ava. And many, many more family and friends.
To my kids, the greatest gift I was given was to be your mother. In good times and bad. My love for ya'll is what drove me. I love you, "ditto".
To my grandchildren, I hope you all know how each and every one of you are special in my heart. Don't forget what I always told you, work hard, dream big and chase those dreams. Spread your wings and fly my babies. Always remember, Nana loves you to the moon!
