Charles Edward “Charlie” Ansback, 72, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026.

He was born on December 17, 1953, in Somerville to Kenneth and Mildred Ansback.

Charlie spent the majority of his adult life in Waco, where he built a life centered on hard work, family, and the outdoors. He was known as a dedicated and hardworking man who took great pride in providing for those he loved. Whether he was hunting, fishing, or spending time with family, Charlie found joy in life’s simple pleasures and the people who meant the most to him.

Charlie is survived by his former wife and lifelong best friend, MaDonna Horton Ansback; his children, Charlene Wyatt, Tia Henderson, Tabitha Ansback, Matthew Ansback, and Charles “Dillion” Ansback. He also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren and the joyful anticipation of welcoming his first great-grandchild. His legacy of love, strength, and devotion to family will continue through each of them.

Charlie will be remembered for his unwavering work ethic, his love of the outdoors, and the deep care he had for his family. Though he will be greatly missed, his memory will live on in the stories shared, the traditions he passed down, and the countless lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Mildred Ansback, as well as several siblings whom he loved dearly and whose loss he deeply felt throughout his life.

May he rest in peace, forever loved and never forgotten. 

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
