Carolyn Massie Mainor
January 26, 1957-June 14, 2021

Carolyn Annette (Massie) Mainor, age 64, of McGregor, Texas, passed away Monday, June 14 at her home. Funeral service will be held 11 A.M. Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the Valley Mills First Baptist Church with Rev. Joyce Hall officiating. Interment will be at Bible Hill Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Visitation will be 5 - 7 PM Friday, June 25th at the funeral home.

Carolyn was born on January 26, 1957, in Bath County, Virginia, to Roy and Helen Massie. She attended school in McGregor and integrated graduated to Crawford School as a 2nd grader and graduated in 1976.  She went to McLennan Community College and received her Associate's Degree in Child Care and Development.  She worked many years in child care at T.S.T.C. Child Development Center, Waco Child Development and E.O.A.C. and Head Start all in Waco. She loved working with children and their families.  She accepted Christ at an early age and proclaimed him to be her Lord and personal Savior.  She was a devoted member of Perry Chapel United Methodist Church. She met and married Reuben Gary Mainor Sr. on June 30, 2000.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister, uncles, and aunts. She is lift to cherish her memory: Reuben Gary Mainor Jr., Debra Massie Major of Waco, TX, William (Billy) Massie of Leesville, Louisiana, Gwendolyn and Phillip Nelms of Crawford, TX,  and Cheryl Massie of Austin, TX, and Aunt Henrietta Massie of Baltimore, MD.   A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
