Bun V. Cummings Jr.
March 17, 1951 - September 17, 2024

Bun  Vickery Cummings Jr. (Bunjy), age 73, of Mosheim, Texas, passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2024.

Bun was born on March 17, 1951, in Clifton, Texas to Bun SR. and Charlotte Cummings.  Lifelong residents  of Mosheim, Texas.  Bunjy was a lifelong member of the Mosheim Methodist Church.  He attended Mosheim School and graduated from Valley Mills High School, then enrolled at Texas State Technical College in Waco, Texas earning his degree in diesel mechanics.  Bunjy married the love of his life, Debra Lynn Jinkins in March of 1982.  He spent his life in construction and agricultural work.   Also, he had ginned cotton with his parents and his sister, Rindy and farmed land all around Mosheim.  Bunjy was called by the locals, "The BEST around with a bulldozer".  Bunjy loved to work with equiptment and was an avid COLLECTOR OF ANYTHING!!!

He was preceded in death by his father, Bun Vickery Cummings Sr., mother, Charlotte Tipton Cummings, and wife, Debra Lynn Cummings.

He is survived by his sister, Rindy Farmer.  Sons, Zak Cummings and Mallory of Mosheim and Brad Still of North Carolina.  Partners in crime, Jarrod and Justin Gunter, wives, Shawn and Pamela.  Cousin, John Mitchell and wife Vickie of Mosheim, Janeen Agricola and husband, Dwaine of Beeville.  Grandchildren, Gus, Maevy, Emoree, Jeb, Mollie, Noah and Levi, Chance Gunter and wife, Kaitlin, Taylor and Kennedy Gunter.

Pallbearers:  Zak Cummings, Jarrod Gunter, Justin Gunter, Chance Gunter, Matt Brown, Andy Harvey.  Honorary Pallbearers:  John Mitchell, Terry Gunter, Carl Hillin, Robby Hillin, Eddie Lehamann, Brent Powers and Kenneth Sanders.

Visitation will be 5 - 7 PM Friday at the Valley Mills First Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 10 AM Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the First Baptist Church under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Interment will be in the Valley Mills Cemetery.  Lunch will follow at the Mosheim Community Center.

Memorials may be made to the Mosheim Community Center.
