Bobby Joe Odum Sr., age 72, of Robinson, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 1, 2016, at his residence surrounded by family.  Graveside services will be 10 A.M. Thursday at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

Visitation will be 5 - 7 P.M. Wednesday at Foss Funeral Home in Valley Mills.

Bobby was born on April 23, 1944, in Paris, Arkansas, to George and Edith Irene (Carrol) McMillan.  He was married to Charlotte Holden on July 31, 1965, in Waco, Texas.  Bob worked in construction most of his life.  Bobby was preceded in death by his parents George & Inge Odum, Leverett and Edith McMillan and a granddaughter, Karlie Odum.

Survivors include his wife Charlotte of Robinson; sons::   B. J. Odum and wife Darlene of Robinson, Brad Odum and wife Samantha of Crawford,  a sister:  Lynda Freedman and husband Duncan of Valley Mills; grandchildren:  Spencer Odum and wife Deserae, Justin Odum, Brandon Odum, Nathan Witt, Tyler Summey, Reese Phillips, Fisher Pyburn and Scarlett Pyburn; several great grandchildren; nieces, nephews,  brother and sister in-laws and cousins.

Pallbearers are Anthony Kolack, Gary Hatfield, grandsons: Spencer, Justin, Brandon, Nathan, Tyler and Reese. Honorary Pallbearers: Doug McCray and Fisher Pyburn.
