Bobby Bond Mar. 9, 1931- June 3,2012 Bobby Bond, age 81, of Crawford, passed away June 3, 2012, in Temple nursing home. Graveside services will be 3 P.M. Thursday (Abby Chapel) at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas, under the direction of Foss Funeral Home. Visitation will be 6 - 7 P.M. Wednesday at Foss Funeral Home. Bobby Dean Bond was born on March 9, 1931, in Gainesville, Texas, to George and Hattie McGilvary Bond. He was a Korean Army Veteran. He married Anita Brownlee on March 19, 1952, in Gainesville. He worked for General Tire for 35 years retiring in 1985. He then was self employed hauling sand and gravel. He served on the Crawford Water Board and was a volunteer fireman. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son-Bobby Jack Bond, a brother Basil Bond and a sister Juanita Norman.. Survivors include his wife Anita Bond of Crawford; a daughter: Karen Isbell and husband, Jerry of Wataga; 2 grandchildren: Eric and Darren Isbell of Wataga; 2 sisters: Edith Rutledge, Laveta Schmitz; numerous nieces and nephews.
