Obituary

Bobbie Sanders Nov. 14, 1929 ~ Sept. 17, 2015 Bobbie Dell Reed Sanders, aged 85, died peacefully on September 17, 2015 at home in Valley Mills, Texas. Funeral service will be held at 2:00PM Sunday, September 20, at the First United Methodist Church of Valley Mills with Rev. Allen Goss officiating. Interment will be at the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Visitation will be on Saturday, September 19 from 5 - 7PM, at Foss Funeral Home. Bobbie was born on November 14, 1929, in Valley Mills. The daughter of Robert Lee and Bessie Della Reed. Bobbie attended high school in Valley Mills, before attending McLennan Community College, Tarrant County Junior College, and 4c Business College. She had her beauty shop for many years. She enjoyed dancing and playing the piano. She was a classical trained pianist. She went back to dancing after her husband died in 2002. Bobbie was a Mary Kay consultant for many years. She loved doing make up. She worked part time at Goldstein Miguel Department Store in the 70s through the 80s. She also did print ad modelling for the Waco Tribune Herald for several years. Bobbie was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Valley Mills. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother and three sisters; husband, Dorman; and son, Timothy Blake Sanders. Bobbie is survived by her sister, LaNell Simpson of Fort Worth; son, Tracy and wife Analyn of Valley Mills; daughter in law, Anita of Hewitt; grandchildren Chad and Annette of Crawford, Lance of Hewitt, Wesley and Stacey of Hewitt, and Brittany and Tommy of Clifton; step grandchildren Carla and Kevin Quill; great grandchildren, Olivia and Orlando Cuevas; nieces and nephews; and a number of other relatives and close friends. Pall Bearers are David Veteto, Jeff Blackburn, Johnny Burns and grandsons Chad, Lance and Wesley Sanders.
