Bobbie Ruth Burns

Bobbie Ruth Burns, formerly of Snyder, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2023, in Brownwood, Texas,  Graveside services will be 2 PM Friday, September 15, 2023, at the Crawford Cemetery in Crawford, Texas, under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center of Valley Mills, Texas.

Bobbie was born on September 19, 1932, in Crawford Texas to Ida Nell Allen Humphreys and Joseph Alf Humphreys.   Bobbie married Billy James Burns May 21st 1949.  Worked for GTE in Brownwood Texas, Lone star Gas Company in Sweetwater Texas, Brownwood Community Hospital, Cogdell Memorial Hospital Snyder, Texas. She was faithful to God and her church and always helped others.  Mother will be missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother Joe Alf Humphres and a son Billy James Burns Jr.

Survivors include her children;  Susan (Kevin Swanson), Beth (Lenny Leal) Grandchildren Casey (Jackie) Swanson, Ryan Swanson, Lanny (Stephanie) Swanson, Chad (Christy) Gill, Lisa Gill, Tami Ludwig, Amanda Leal, Alexa (Eric) Oliveira.  Mackenzie (Steve) Drewel, Bo Burns.  24 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
