Bobbie Gene Brandon

Bobbie Brandon, age 89, of Hewitt passed away at his residence on May 19, 2026.

Bobby was born on May 19, 1937, to Hubert Okley and Vesta Mae (Brown) Brandon. He graduated from Forrest High School. He was a Korean Veteran. After being employed for over 30 years by the United States Postal Service he retired in 1999. Bobby was a long time active member of Westwood Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Tina Brandon, daughter Tina Brandon, and his long time companion Dixie Vardeman.

Survivors include his brother Ray Bacon, sister Vickie Kay Patterson, daughter Kelly Brandon, grandson Zack, and long time friends Mr. & Mrs. Joe Goodman.

A memorial service will be held by his friends and family at the Westwood Baptist Church in Waco, Tx. The date will be post on this website at a later date. Interment will be at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.
