Billie Eugene Toten, Sr. passed away on Thursday July 9, 2020, at the age of 81. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday July 13, 2020 at the Apostolic Tabernacle in China Spring, Texas, with Pastor Daywitt officiating. Interment will be in the Clifton Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center. State mandated social distancing will be practiced at this event and mask are required

Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

Billie was born to Robert and Mildren (Johnson) Toten of China Spring, TX. He was an expert carpenter for over 50 years and was always willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed many things but of them all his favorite were playing the guitar and singing worship songs at the Apostolic Tabernacle in China Spring, TX. There he worshiped his Mighty Lord and Savior with Pastor Daywitt and his friends in Christ. He loved to laugh and joke with with family and friends and was an avid storyteller. His tenacity knew no bounds. In his youth you could find him in a corn field chasing down a jack rabbit.

He is preceded in death by his daughter Amanda Rumbaugh and her husband Kevin, his brothers Odell and Jimmy Toten, his sister Janelle Toten and his parents Robert and Mildren Toten.

Billie will be missed by many including his loving wife of 63 years Bettie Toten, His surviving children, Nita Coston, Nadine Bayer and husband Kenneth, Billie Toten,Jr., Kathy Orand and her husband Curtis, Brenda Armstrong and her husband Guy, John Toten and his wife Janet,  grandchildren Clint Armstrong, Andrew Coston and his wife Beth, Ashley Wofford and her husband Seth, and Jeremy Falor.
