Bill A. Vardiman June 7, 1952 ~ May 11, 2013 Bill Alvin Vardiman, age 60, of Valley Mills, Texas, passed away May 11, 2013. Funeral services will be held 2 P.M. Friday at the Valley Mills Church of Christ with minister Pat Richardson officiating. Interment will be in the Valley Mills Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 - 7 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to Bill Vardiman Memorial Fund, c/o First National Bank Bosque County, PO. Box 278, Valley Mills, Tx. 76689. Bill was born on June 7, 1952, in Slaton, Tx. He attended both Jayton High School and Moran High School graduating in 1971. He received a Bachelor degree in Education with a focus in Special Education from Abilene Christian College in 1975. Bill also attended the Sunset School of Preaching in Lubbock and after graduating from Sunset helped preached at sever congregations including some in the Philippines. Bill worked as a Kiln Operator for the Clifton Chemical Lime Company for 20 years. He enjoyed taking flight lessons and talking to friends as a Ham Radio operator. His passion was studying and preaching the Word of God. He was also actively infolved in the Spring Valley Church of Christ in Hewitt, Texas. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, sister June and a brother Gerald. Bill is survived by a son Tony, a granddaughter Sierra both of California; brothers: Donald of New Jersey, Philipp of Abilene; sisters: Nelda of Cisco, Phyllis of Southlake; several nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the Valley Mills Church of Christ and the Spring Valley Church of Christ for their generosity and assistance during this difficult time.
