Annie Mae Smith Sept. 8, 1928 ~ Feb. 14, 2014 Annie Mae Smith, age 85, of Speegleville passed away on February 14, 2014. Funeral services will be 10 A.M. Tuesday, Feb. 18th at Shiloh Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Crawford Cemetery under the direction of Foss Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 5 - 7 P.M. Monday at Foss Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church. Annie Mae was born on September 8, 1928, in Crawford, Texas, to John and Alma (Foss) Meadows. She was married to Leonard Smith on May 11, 1949. Having been an only child Annie Mae loved his brothers & sisters very much. He preceded her in death in 2000. She had worked at Westin Cookie Company, Coca-Cola, and Library Binding. She retired from Piccadilly where she not only served many customers but made life long friends. Survivors include her children: Joe Bob Smith, Patsy Richardson and husband John, granddaughter Amber Oliver and husband Chris; great granddaughter Layla Mae Jean Oliver; brothers-in-law: Bill Smith and wife Lynn, Bob Smith and wife Alene, Roy Smith and wife Jean; sisters-in-law: Barbara Smith, Sue Hare and husband Dale, Mary Lou Veuleman and husband Doc, Anna Waters; many nieces, nephews, and special friend of many years Dollie Isbell.
