A J Knight, age 88, of Cleburne, Texas, passed away in Weatherford on January 19, 2016. Graveside services will be held 10 A.M. Monday, January 25, 2016, at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with full military honors under the direction of Foss Funeral Home and Cremation Center.
Mr. Knight was born December 10, 1927, in Holtville, California, to Grover and Mary Elizabeth (Ethridge) Knight. He was a World War II Navy Veteran. He owned and operated AJ's Barber Shop, was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He loved and supported all Imperial Valley Sports Teams. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Craig.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Helen Knight, daughter Nancie Yarbro and spouse Jody, son Lester Knight and spouse Sophia, grandchildren: Jackie, Matt, Ryan and Amber; great grandchildren: Hunter, Noa and soon to be born Thea, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
